News basically #4 (Version R0.4)


Heya.

So, I have legit work now. Can't work on the game all the time.

Nonetheless, Pikachu's done. Here's to the first truly new character to Dynasty! ...A returning one from the original Smash Bros.
With some Pokken Tournament voice lines, Pikachu is way too fast. In frame data. Like seriously this guy has like 7 multi hit moves that come out fast and also stop fairly fast. Other than those notes of interest, he's designed fairly similarly to actual smash, but his forward tilt is now more designed to break shields (in that it literally always does). As for his supers, he has a simple thunderstorm one for the air, and on the ground, he has the most Mexican ahh body slam super I've ever created. It launches him forwards and up (unless you change the angle somewhat by holding up or down as he jumps), and then he has this teeny tiny hitbox that always kills (I literally coded it to do so unless you're over ground) and does 50%. Lord above.

Aside from Pikachu, I've made some new visual hit effects for sword attacks. Nice! Roy will love those. I also made it so that, when someone takes extreme damage, they cry out, the attack's exaggerated in hit stun and camera shake, and there's a little screen flash (just a little, it doesn't full on flashbang you). 

Here's to another character, stage, or something other than that.
Things will probably only slow down from here.
